Raised in
upstate New York, Jamie moved to Seattle in 1995 and
graduated from the University of Washington
Department of Landscape Architecture in 2000.
He has worked in professional landscape architecture
offices in Seattle and Washington, D.C. designing
projects of all scales, including residential
gardens, public parks, urban plazas, and commercial
centers. After growing to love the dynamic
landscape of the Pacific Northwest and built urban
environments, Jamie has sculpted a design style that
strives to meld the two.
Jamie enjoys interaction with students of all ages,
and has been actively involved in promoting
awareness of landscape architecture, design, and
stewardship. In addition to teaching in the
University of Washington Landscape
Architecture Department and being a
mentor to landscape architecture students, Jamie has
been a tour guide for elementary school children at
the Seattle Architectural Foundation and helped lead
the Washington Architectural Foundation’s volunteer
effort to design and build a memorial at a
Washington, D.C. elementary school. |
